Bentley Systems Announces Winners of the 2022 Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure

The Winners were Announced at the 2022 Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure Celebrations in London


The winners of the Infrastructure 2022 Going Digital Awards were announced by Bentley Systems, Inc. The yearly awards program recognizes the outstanding contributions of Bentley software users with advanced infrastructure design, construction, and operations globally.


At the 2022 Year in Infrastructure and Going Digital Awards event in London, finalists showcased their initiatives in front of the international press and 11 independent jury panels. The 36 finalists who were chosen by the jury, from approximately 300 nominations presented by more than 180 institutions from 47 countries, comprise the shortlist for the 12 award categories.


The following are the winners of the 2022 Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure:


For the category under, Bridges and Tunnels, the winner is the IH35 Nex Central Station od Ferrovial Construction and Alamo Construction, located in San Antonio, Texas, United States.


Next is the Construction category, the award was given to ACCIONA’s Safely Removing Dangerous Level Crossings through Digital Construction of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.


Under the Enterprise Engineering, Mott MacDonald’s Smart Object Library for the Environment Agency located in the United Kingdom was declared the winner.


For Facilities, Campuses, and Cities, Maps@SYD of Sydney Airport was declared as the winner, which is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.


Under the Geoprofessional category, the Driving Efficiency and Sustainability in Material Reuse through GeoBIM of Mott MacDonald from Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom was announced as the winner.


For Grid, POWERCHINA Hubei’s Full Lifecycle Digital Application in Wuhan Xudong 220kV Substation Project from Wuhan, Hubei, China, is the winner.


Under Process and Power Generation, the winner is OQ Asset Reliability Digitalization with Purpose of the OQ Upstream in Oman.


From Rail and Transit is PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk’s Integrated High Speed Rail & Station Jakarta – Bandung at Jakarta, Indonesia.


Roads and Highways, Waka Kotahi and FH/HEB JV, BECA Ltd.’s Takitimu North Link of Tauranga, Western Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.


Structural Engineering, WSP’s Unity Place Delivered with Optimized Design by WSP Using Innovations from Bentley in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom.


Surveying and Monitoring, Singapore Land Authority’s SG Digital Twin Empowered by Mobile Mapping of Singapore.


Water and Wastewater, Jacobs and PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency’s Singapore’s National Water Agency in Singapore.


These presentations showcase how Bentley's users employ cutting-edge technology to solve problems and accomplish goals.


On the other hand, on November 15, Chief Executive Officer of Bentley, Greg Bentley, highlighted the honorees of the Founders' Honors in addition to the Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure. Each founder chose one Founders' Honor from among the other Going Digital Awards contenders.


This recognition is granted to a small number of exceptional projects, persons, and groups that have significantly inspired Bentley to improve international infrastructure while promoting the environment and economic development.
