Be inspired by the creative minds of local interior designers at the 25th year celebrations of WORLDBEX 2022. This August 31 until September 3, you can visit the Interior Designers’ Gallery showcasing the works of some of the country’s renowned interior designers.
Exclusive at WORLDBEX, well-known interior designers are invited to cogitate on their works since they entered the industry. Headed by Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) College of Fellows President IDr. Tony S. Adriano and PIID National President IDr. Ivy Almario together with her sister IDR. Cynthia Almario, IDr. Jigs Adefuin, IDr. Leo Lino M. Almeria, IDr. Karen Calalec, Arch./IDr. Rogelio D. Caringal, IDr. Manny Castro, IDr. Suzette F. Cocuaco, IDr. Joy Ejercito, IDr. Chat Fores, IDr. Loubelie Gardiola , Arch./IDr. Arlen de Guzman, IDr. Wilmer Lopez, IDr Eric Paras, IDr. Alexander “Ogie” Periquet, IDr. Michael C. Pizarro, IDr. Joey Yupangco, and lastly IDr. Tessa Prieto will showcase their vignettes that represent the legacy they have built.
Each anecdote epitomizes their spin-offs, their design vocabulary, and their innovative ideas, sharing their passion and their own unique styles that impacted the interior design industry and made them an icon.
Besides these renowned interior designers, the regional chapters of the PIID namely: PIID Cebu, PIID Eastern Visayas, PIID Mindanao, PIID Negros and PIID Panay will also design vignettes that show what each chapter can offer in the industry.
For this year, one of the main exhibits at the gallery is the tribute to IDr. Johnny Hubilla by Hubilla Design Group, celebrating his life’s works and contributions, delegates can see how he utilized his design language and how his legacy has affected the industry.
