United Architects of the Philippines Launches 48th National Convention 2023

PASAY CITY. All roads lead to Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) for thousands of members of The United Architects of the Philippines. As they hold their 48th UAP National Convention on April 19-22, 2023, with this year's theme: Future-ready Architects in the Better Normal held at PICC Complex.

The 48th edition of the architects' National Convention symbolized the stance signal of readiness of the architects to face the challenges of the times. Particularly with the reopening of the economy after more than two years of hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic as they celebrate and pay homage to National Artist Architect Leandro Locsin and his masterpiece, the PICC.

Architect Jose Luis Cortes, President of Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA), will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker, according to Arch. Richard Garcia, UAP National President, said during the press launching and kick-off ceremony held last January 27, 2023, at the Function room.

"This year's convention is unique, not only because the convention returns to PICC from the SMX convention to MoA, but also because the number of exhibitors has increased to give companies a chance to present their products and services on this largest gathering of Architects and design professionals." Architect Jonathan Manalad, National Convention Director, said.

The Convention Exhibits (CONEX) 2023 brings the architects and allied professionals like engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and contractors to one convention for their needs.

The official registration of delegates for the 4-days convention from April 19-22, 2023, is now open thru their secretariat uapnationalconex@yahoo.com.

UAP National President Arch. Richard Garcia leads the opening of online registration, together with National Convention Director Arch. Jonathan Manalad and Arch. Antonio Valdez, Executive Director for convention assemblies and exhibits.
